Art. 1
Request for publication
The requests for publication must be sent to the Executive Board of the Journal “Iurisdictio. Storia e prospettive della giustizia” (from now “Journal”), with an email addressed to rivista.iurisdictio@gmail.com, indicating the following data:
- Name, Surname, address, telephone number, academic function, email address
- Declaration of the applicant that he is the only author of the submitted original work and of acceptance of Journal’s Publication Policy and Publication Ethics;
- Indication of the section of the journal in which place the work (Papers without review, Essays with review or Judicial Life section).
The email must include as attached a proposal of publication in compliance with the editorial standards indicated in https://www.iurisdictio.it/pubblicare-su-iurisdictio/criteri-redazionali. Proposals of publication for the Essays must have a minimum limit of 40.000 characters (including spaces) and must be sent with an abstract in Italian and in English and with three keywords in Italian and in English.
Art. 2
Executive Board’s evaluation
The request for publication will be examined by the Executive Board and Managing Director that will evaluate scientificity and coherence of the work with the editorial policy of the journal. The Executive Board will answer to the request, positively or negatively, within thirty days with an email addressed to the applicant.
Art. 3
Double-blind peer review. Procedure.
In case of Essays accepted during the first phase of evaluation, the Executive Board will start the review procedure, that will be conducted with the double-blind peer review system, in order to guarantee transparency, independence of reviewers and absence of conflicts of interest. The Essay will be submitted to two anonymous referees, experts of the topic and external from the Executive Board and Editorial Board.
In case of two negative evaluations, the request for publication will be rejected; in case of a positive and negative evaluation, the Executive Board will decide about the publication of the Essay.
In case of two positive evaluations under the condition of modifications, the applicant will have to execute the modifications indicated by the referees, and the Executive Board will evaluate the coherence of the interventions conducted.
Art. 4
Editorial Board
Every publication on the Journal will be submitted from the Executive Board to a member of the Editorial Board that will handle the communications with the author during the phase of the review of the draft.
Art. 5
Journal Style Guide
The Author accepts the Journal Style Guide and must respect them.

Policies approval
With the application of a request for a publication, the author declares to have viewed and accepted the policies of Iurisdictio journal indicated on the website https://www.iurisdictio.it/pubblicare-su-iurisdictio/liberatorie/.
